Date this lamp (or otherwise help me find a shade)

I've had this floor lamp for about 25 years. Before that it was my grandparents'. I broke the shade less than a week into my ownership. I've looked for replacement shades off and on since then without luck. I'm looking again. Can anyone offer any advice as to when this might have been made based on style and electrical bits, or tell me what kind of shade I need, or give me any direction in finding a shade?

If I recall correctly, the shade was a glass (that part I'm sure of!) flat saucer, open on top. No fitter or lip or neck or anything on the base. It was frosted white with avocado green stripes radiating out from the center. It rested (insecurely, I might add) on the lamp with nothing but gravity to hold it in place. It probably didn't have bulbs in it when it had its accident--they'd probably keep the shade from falling off.

The middle which isn't pictured is just more of the same fluting. The lamp is a bit over 5 ft. tall.

eta: the fitter hole is about 4" in diameter.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
