Hey Houzi, I just saw your post. Thanks a lot, yes my trees seem to have survived. I'm starting to believe the Japanese Maples are much tougher trees than I thought earlier. This will be my 3rd summer with many of them and despite all the negative factors (deep planting, too much watering, hot weather etc... ) not even 1 died on me. I had little hope for many of them last fall as I had removed a major portion of their root system. Some of them I had even bare rooted and it looked as if it wouldn't survive with such a small root system. Now with better conditions hopefully, (hey at least they are planted closer to the "right way" this time with the visible root flare and raised bed) I have much higher hope than before that they will be present in my garden in the long term. The tree marked as Corralinum seems to be like a sango kaku although it is probably a seedling rather than a true type. I still enjoy it, with its shape and colour. The bark was much more pink in winter though. Here are a few before & after photos of only some of my trees which I had posted in this thread

Great News! We received an offer yesterday! We played the game and countered, they came back and we have a signed contract for $510,000. Onto appraisals and inspections and hopefully house hunting for us! I know we're not out of the woods yet, but we're having a bottle of wine with dinner tonight!

you can indeed have all 3 on your pc with no ill effects, the choice is made by you as to which one you want to use each time, simply click the icon for which ever browser you want to use. If you currently have firefox and IE and want to use one you just click the firefox icon to open the firefox browser or click the IE icon to use the IE browser adding Opera will be exactly the same. In many instances I have both firefox and IE open at the same time. You can choose to have any one of them as the default or simply leave IE as default but just choose to open which ever one you want when you need to use a browser. It is good practice to have at least 2 different browsers on the pc in case one should fail to work you can still access the web with the other one. I personally just leave IE as default but never ever use it other than to go to the windows update site to get my updates. I have all my faves on both, just used the import feature to have each browser get my faves and bookmarks on each browser. You can make any of them the default or change that at anytime to which ever you want to change it to, has no effect on which you choose to use at the moment. You can also set what ever you want as your home page on each browser or they can each have a different home page.

We are ordering new garage doors and will be painting soon so I do unfortunately have to stress about my accent colors. I would rather whitewash so that stone looks more natural than if I painted it a solid color.
