Could you leave it alone?

This is the bathroom, not the kitchen, but the same general rule of intervention or non intervention can apply except that kitchens need new appliances eventually.

I looked at this house yesterday. It is c. 1840s, and had renovation in the pioneer stages --very early 60s-- and has been lived in ever since by the original renovators. (90 years old now, probably). This was the generation that tended to leave things alone. The LR has a 1960s console TV as well as a beautiful Federal-Greek Revival fireplace. It appears they literally did once-and-done throughout and meticulously maintained it but never utd----

This is the cleanest, newest looking almost 50 year old bathroom I have ever seen. Except for the wallpaper, could you leave it alone? (The wording in the listing seems to be selling the house as a gut worthy relic :( )
