Need a great but reasonably priced linear shower drain

The local fixture shop priced the 72" drain at over $1300 for an Infinity Drain (store also had Quick Drain). I love the idea of a linear drain but at $1300 I question doing it. Are there good quality reasonably priced alternatives or should I go center drain ? I think I can go with a PVC base and stainless grate to save some cost.

I saw the Houzz store had a pretty well reviewed drain from Dream Drains and I see quite a few other options. I'm hoping there's a good quality drain for less.

Our GC says the linear drain needs to be installed end to end so it becomes fairly long (60-78" depending on the shower).
