hi everyone we finaly got some much needed rain and my brugs really needed it i have isabellla and frosty pink blooming they are about five feet tall i really want a red one Trish my husband mailed your box wensday i hope you like it it has been so hot it was hard to send plants i hope they arrive safe today i took my grandson to see monster house for his 7th birthday and found a real good deal at payless shoes 20.00 shoes for 5.oo that was a deal got his hair cut for school and everyone be careful checking emails from wireless phone we have someone stole my name and ordered phone and sent them to Maryland and luckly my network sent me text mess to say my account password had been changed and i called and asked what was going on and some one fauded my account what a bummer i had to put fraud allert on my credit and it feels weird to see how easly they did it well i hope everyone has a nice evening stay cool patty

In the past I've taped a red velvet ribbon to an interior door, with the ribbon taped at the top and bottom of the door and the ribbon running down the middle of it. I would staple the cards (back part) to the ribbon. After the holidays, I would put them all in a box w/ the holiday decorations. Every once in a while I'd look through them, but usually they just accumulated. Finally I saw a news blurb that said St. Jude's was collecting them. I think that was 2009. So I finally went through all the cards from many years and sent off the ones I thought they'd take. I kept some of my favorites to someday use the front as a decoration or gift tag, as well as some of the photo cards. I didn't send 2010's cards to St. Jude's yet - they're sitting in a pile on my sewing cabinet! I just did a quick check on the St. Jude's site and they still have the recycled card program - and it says they also accept all-occasion cards too. gardenandcats.....many years ago, after he changed his visitation, I tried numerous times to get him to understand how important it was for him to meet the kids on their level. He refused to do so. He had the decree amended to state that his visitation would be from noon on Saturday until 6 pm the same day. No holidays, no summer vacation time. I tried to get him involved with DS's school issues, he has dyslexia, but ex said DS would out grow it. ??????? He has a very weird way of seeing things. I would call him to let him know the kid's report card grades and such and was told that he was talking to me too much and didn't want to do that. It was like 4 times during a school year. I warned him of the repercussions that his type of fathering skills would have on the kids and their relationship with him. He told me that if they couldn't accept him the way he was that was their problem. DS hasn't seen him in about 3 years and EX said that that was ok, he might not like him now anyway. Meaning that EX might not like his son......He is an alcoholic and that mixed with his weird way of looking at things is really difficult to understand. My point though with the Christmas card is that if he is only going to contact them by mail twice a year then it would better if he didn't do it at all. It is difficult for them to accept him not wanting to try and make a relationship with them but it was nice when he would send them a little something on birthdays and Christmas. To stop doing that is just another jab at them, IMO, letting them know that he is removing them from his life. Plus the facts with his older daughter and her new step son. For him to reach out to this child while cutting off his own children is cruel. I won't tell the kids about it. So yes, I have told him, long ago, what a rotten dad he is. He thinks he is just fine and it is the kids that have the problem.
