Best not to plant citrus seeds in Root Riot Cubes
Comments (3)Today DH got out his knife, and separated the twins. Actually, I was surprised that they kept their roots straight down and were not co-mingled. He then cut another root cube in half, jammed it up against each seedling, and back in the rooting chamber they went. They will survive just fine. Not so sure about the new twins. They are about 1/32" from each other. If one is big, it will get culled because it's growing next to a true dwarf root stock. And the dwarf stock is the whole reason for seedlings....See MoreWhich Gaming System is the Best: Game Cube, Play Station or XBox?
Comments (14)The best system rn, PS without thinking. However, even though I am a longtime Playstation fan, it feels like Playstation is just getting more and more expensive: games, online subscription, limited storage and now the "pro" variants. Some of my favorite games on PS are Spider-Man, God of War, Hitman, and Ghost of Tsushima with God of War easily topping the list....See MoreWinter Sowing Seed Exchange FAQs ~ Trading pack for pack is best!
Comments (0)Be a polite trader please. Don't ask to trade three packs of your seeds for seven packs of the other trader's seeds...that's simply greedy and rude. Good seed traders are friendly, encouraging, and often quite generous. If someone offers an uneven trade to you (more of your seeds for less of theirs) then you don't have to respond to that trade offer. Just ignore the trader and delete their trade proposal from your inbox. You NEVER have to reply to a trade offer that makes you feel uncomfortable....See MoreThoughts on Packing Cubes & Travel Backpacks....
Comments (22)Thanks everyone, great insight!! i was thinking of both of us just using a backpack for the week and not having to check a bag at all. the back packs i am looking at are all TSA approved for a carryon. just wondering if they are easier to manage than a rolling carryon? when we went to CA a couple of years ago, we both had a carryon and we checked one bigger bag. trying to avoid a checked bag, save time & $$.... and we hardly used anything in the big bag since i washed clothes on the 5th day... i guess it will depend on the weather. if the temps are going to be consistent that week, it will be easy to just use a backpack... if fluctuating, might not be enough room to pack different seasonal clothes....i do find u never use as much as u think you will!!! i guess my question is are backpacks easier to manage/have more room vs. an allowed roll-on? or would the weight be a PITA? i know i would have to pack light and the hardest is shoes, but i could do it if i have to :).....the cabin max metz backpack carry on bag . & this one: osprey far point 40 the nice thing about these is they are made for travel, so they open up like a suitcase instead of just on the top like a school bag.... i think the cubes are a great idea and will def. be getting them...... yes, we are staying in hotels/airbnb etc... most places just one night.......See More- 6 years ago
