I'll Show You Mine, If You'll Show Me Yours Monday August 27th
Comments (13)Thanks for the video, Taigen. Great job getting all those shots of the chrysalis-in-progress. The little metallic gold ornamentation has always fascinated me. It must be there for a purpose; I wonder what it is. Nicole, yes (after some study)! This one's easier: Can you find the two turkeys?...See MoreExercises on Monday, 23 October
Comments (20)After my recent doctor visit, I started back on my treadmill. He said my blood work came back borderline diabetes and stressed again that losing weight and exercising will fix this up. So now my DH does his thing as I do mine. I'm hoping when I go back in 6 months there will be a positive change. My walking isn't very intense because I pulled something in my left leg when we were removing a tree that fell in our yard a month ago. The doctors in the emergency room said it sounds like I have a sciatica nerve problem. Sometimes I have a hard time walking and sometimes it's perfectly fine. Until I turn my ankle a certain way, then I start limping again....See MorePost your Monday November 20 exercises here
Comments (4)I did strength class at the gym. I had fallen a couple of weeks ago and hurt my butt and the small of my back and yesterday I noticed that I was finally able to put weights back onto the olympic bar when I was doing my squats so I'm on the road to recovery. Yea! I then took my nieces dog for a walk. She was at home when I got back and plied me with really good lemon white chocolate cookies. I suppose I could have said no, but I didn't....See MorePost your Wednesday November 22 exercises here
Comments (2)I've been walking as much as possible and doing stretches and exercises to strengthen the knee I sprained/broke back in August. I'm getting pretty good at walking up the stairs, but going down is still tricky. One of my exercises is to step up and down on a block of wood. I think it's more a matter of lack of confidence than it is my knee not being up to it. Now that I can get down on the floor (and back up again), I'm going to attempt a beginning yoga program starting today. I think my entire body, including my knee, will thank me. Going to start slow, do what I feel comfy doing and build from there....See MoreAdella Bedella
