Comments (38)Tina, I bet you all can get the tile a lot cheaper than we can! The company is wonderful, they sent me a lot of free samples so I could choose my colors. We also have it in the entry way. We just love it! Marrilyn, I think we added about 650 sq. feet, which is the new room only. After being cramped in that tiny LR, we wanted SPACE, even though it's just my dh and myself now. lol. Here's the before picture I took at the end of last summer when I knew it would be "demolished." The wonderful memories of two little boys frolicking in the front yard makes me cry. :( From where I'm standing taking the picture, between me and the old house is the new room. Before: After, another picture below: Left side of porch, we added some rock to it that we used on our FP. Right side, still no porch furniture. :( Here's a picture taken a couple of months ago at the beginning of my "cottage garden" which is an interesting experiment. lol....See MoreWarning: if you haven't done this, DON'T!
Comments (55)Bud, I saw this one recently. Frosty Paws Dog Ice Cream Recipe 32 oz. plain yogurt 1 mashed banana 2 T p'nut butter 2 T honey ItÂs true dairy products arenÂt good for dogs, but yogurt contains much less lactase than regular milk and the live cultures are great for your dogÂs digestive system. This dog ice cream recipe is delicious and good for your pet! 1. Mix all these ingredients in your blender, then dump into ice cube trays, paper cups, or even a kong toy to freeze and serve. 2. If you want to go all out for your mutt you can freeze these homemade frosty paws just like you would homemade ice cream. A salt-less automatic ice cream maker makes this as easy as using any other appliance in your home and the frosty paws will be ready to serve in 10 minutes. For the ultimate treat, appropriate for desert at a doggy birthday party, follow steps one and two, then take the mostly frozen dog ice cream product of number two and spread it 1" to 1½" thick on wax paper. Freeze for five minutes and thenremove dog ice cream from freezer. Next, use a paw shaped cookie cutter to cut a paw shaped "frosty paws", remove ice cream around edges, and return paw shapes to the freezer to freeze solid....See MoreCosmetic fillers (revisited)
Comments (101)I thought it sounded like a lot of filler too. I've got a call in to Dr. D's office to clarify a few things. I know nothing about fat transfer, but will do some research. Dr. D did tell me that the area on my face that is starting to slightly jowl is not as a result of saggy skin, but I have excess fat in that area and due to other parts of my face on which gravity is taking its toll, the jowling is taking on more of a prevalent look. I don't know if I should be pleased to know that it's not just saggy skin but a fat face that I have! LOL!...See MoreSkincare rec's from plastic surgeons RN
Comments (19)Oakley I have been using Oil of Olay with 15 spf for years and it works for me, but I thought the 30 spf in Cerave would be better and maybe the moisturizer would be better for my getting older drier skin, nope. Oustide Playing I have been using Bobbie Brown makeup for a long time (now just the eye makeup and blush) but none of the skincare products. I find the BB foundation isn't as good as much cheaper Loreal BB cream. The first time I used it two or three different people at work even commented that I looked great, and very well rested. Maybe I'll try Bobbie Brown and the Loreal and see what I like best. I have to accept the fact that my attempt at suntanning my fair skin as a teen/young adult is catching up with me. And it isn't just my face everything is much drier. I just had a pedicure today and the tech said I was getting calluses and very dry skin on my feet, something I have never experienced. I'm going to see the derm in a few weeks for my yearly skin exam and ask her for her advice....See Morepudgeder
