Aw man, thanks for the comments guys! After being in this house with small kids for eight years, the cabinets are showing wear and there is quite a bit of water damage on many of them and some are broken (didn’t show you that photo!). So...that was where my head was at with going ahead and painting the cabinets. They are already priming today so this is a done deal! In my area, painting cabs is still a big thing (we might steer behind the times a little) and a big thing people look for in resale (we could be moving in a couple years). Honestly, it might not be trendy but I still love my granite! It hides stuff so well and never looks dirty. And I never even notice my backsplash and I just don’t care that much about it. It’s hard for me to warrant changing something just for cosmetic reasons (counter and backsplash) versus need (cabs). We got an amazing deal on the painting so I feel good about it. I’m going full steam with Antique White. After looking at it forever and being in complete decision making paralysis, that’s what I’m going with! I’m going with brass/gold knobs to add a little bit of funky and I have lots of Anthropologie-esque and plants to add character. I have a very open floor plan with my living room right there in all it’s colorful glory, so I’m thinking the lighter will look nice. I’ll be happy to post a pic when I’m done. Hi! Some paint colors similar to this photo are Sherwin Williams Antique White or SW Aged White. These two colors offer creamy tones and may be great options to consider. Hope this helps! Best of luck!

Here is a great place to start New to Kitchens Read me First Do you have some photos of the travertine flooring? And perhaps photos of the space including your black, gray and light gray furniture. What brands of cabinet is the Drizzle or the Drift of Mist? I am not familiar with the color names. What is your budget? What is the size of space you will be working on? Do you think it will look good with the door to pantry and the built in tall cabinet to have the darker color? If I paint my cabinets this color, what color for countertops? I'd have to see some of the space before I could give you an opinion. Are you painting cabs or purchasing them? I guess I thought the drift of mist was the name of a color from a cabinet company. Maybe you mean paint. Counters? There are 1000s of options and I bet you will find something you love with the cabinets. What do you like? Material? Marble, Quartzite, Corian, Granite....? Here are some ideas of cabinet colors that could work with travertine floors and work with the furniture you describe. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Brookhaven has this pretty gray color. Kraftmaid Sage and mushroom Travertine can be gray or beige or even cream color. What are yours?

Thanks for everyone's feedback feedback! The backsplash is going to be the full height Taj Mahal quartzite. The wall paint color is still up in the air but something like the BM Dove White or neutral color in the "greige" palette may look nice? I am unfortunately limited to these few color options as going up to the next line of cabinets simply for a color change is significantly more expensive. Leaning towards either the Fieldstone lowers with white uppers or all white for both the upper/lower. Both have their pros and cons!
