1. If the walls were previously painted, no primer is needed. However, a thorough cleaning is required, and walls should always be sanded before painting (if you want a smooth, clean finish). Use sanding screen (#150 grit) on pole to smooth away bumps, roller cover fibers, dust, etc. Be sure walls are dust free before painting. 2. Aura Bath & Spa is a Matte finish. I wouldn't use it on doors and trim. Choose Aura Interior, semi-gloss or satin for doors and trim. Be sure to paint all six sides of the doors. 3. Aura Bath & Spa is formulated for damp, humid interiors. It works well in baths and kitchens. Aura Interior works best on other walls, LR, BR, etc. 4. If you have no experience brushing Aura, paint the door off the hinges in horizontal position. Use a 4" quality roller cover and tip with a brush. You'll need to move FAST. Ask BM store for rolling and brushing supplies.

DH sprayed the Advance for all the trim and I think he mentioned it went on a bit different but he didn't have any complaints. I think he thinned it with floetrol, just like he did when we used Sherwin Williams ProClassic for our other trim. We just hired a painter to paint the trim and doors in the remaining bedrooms and 1 additional bathroom because DH doesn't have time to finish those rooms. The painter is brushing instead of spraying and he said he really likes the Advance. It looks great - not as perfect as DH's sprayed on finish but DH also takes 3 times longer to finish because he's such a perfectionist :)

The linen white walls were just painted and the trim, doors, etc are almost exactly the same color. The house has very little natural light and it all looks very drab - needs contrast. Its my MIL's new home and its a very traditional style with dark floors. Im losing sleep over this haha.
