Comments (11)Agreed! A sight for sore eyes! I've been in holiday mode and it's good to look at something completely different. We had what was technically a blizzard on Sunday... now just bitter cold, with a blanket of snow on the ground. Comments (16)Celeste, Kate, and Alex - My photo probably makes the color on Purple Passion's Promise a bit darker than it really is. I took the photo when it was overcast and sort of dark. The bloom is smaller than I prefer, but the color is so rich I wanted to try it. Kate - I do think Sword of Justice is attractive, and I was happy just to see the little white arrows in the eye. Mississippi Magistrate surprised me with all those buds. I grew it before years ago, and it never did that well then. It must have found its sweet spot.
