Comments (3)You're saying the paint, carpet, and sofa aren't changing and you want help with accessories & colors, etc. I hate to say it, but the three main anchors in the room are fighting with each other (colors) and it's hard to recommend other colors when they're not working together. I can totally understand not replacing a sofa or carpet and I can understand not wanting to repaint for a variety of reasons, but this is where I would make a change. Your carpet is boss and if you want to stay neutral you're going to need something with the same pink undertone. I have the same brown/tan carpet with a pink undertone (as do many people in the world with 'neutral' carpet and tiles, etc.) throughout a large part of my house. Look at BM Muslin, BM Shaker Beige, or BM Patience. Your sofa is reading green on my monitor, but you say it's blue. I'd start by changing the wall color and work to add more blue and cream to the room. Do you have any inspiration photos? Does your style lean traditional? Do you like patterns? Prefer solids? If you really don't want to paint the option would be to layer a pattern rug on top of the carpet and make sure it has all the colors in and just keep repeating the colors throughout the room to make it look more intentional....See MoreLiving room curtains and wall art help for 10 ft ceiling
Comments (16)Thank you everyone for your advice. @BeverlyFLADeziner What makes this living room a playroom? I don't like the accordion blinds. If I had to choose between accordion blinds or no curtains, I would go with not having curtains. @d_gw It's a radiator on the left side. @kulrn we tried to arrange the living room furniture in different angles; however, given the room size and the open kitchen, this is the best way to arrange the furnitures. @...See MoreThe art consultant sent me a proposal for art in my living room! Comments (65)This OP has posted several dilemmas lately. I started reading this one from the onset and yes, there are several of the more critical posts missing. She clearly was happy about the selections and appeared to want validation from the people that had helped her with her other dilemmas. One of the first comments on my first dilemma on here was devastating to me and left me very upset. Fortunately, I have a thick skin and just flagged it and then along came some wonderful people to help me. Sometimes certain contributors just go too far. I’ve seen many OPs run off from this forum, but this is the first I’ve seen someone completely delete their account. THINK before you comment people! You could make or break someone’s day with your words...See MoreTrying to find wall art for living room
