Exxon Motor Oil - Ever Notice It Is Cheaper
Comments (11)"I would like to think it's cheaper because nobody wants to buy anything from the company that single handily destroyed most of Prince William Sound in 1989...." ********** Maybe I am missing something. I spent two days touring Valdez and Prince William Sound recently and found no damage nor animosities among the people who live there. I also spent two weeks along the pipe line and found everything in order and well kept. I am at a loss as to this hostility, they spent billions cleaning up and were instructed to stop because they were going too far. Exxon/Moble must be doing something correctly for I see them frequently being critized for making obsene profits. I fear few people realize how much gasoline we use. I saw in "NC State Magazine," that we here in just NC alone used over 441,000,000 gallons of gasoline LAST MONTH. What are we going to replace that amount of energy with?...See Moredid you ever notice ....???
Comments (6)Yes, I completely agree with you, Ken! I was fairly horrified after visiting your place to realize that I didn't take pictures. I was hoping you wouldn't feel slighted, because I will always remember the visit. I am not a multitasker. My better half is and takes lots of pictures. I can take a picture, or I can participate in the event, I cannot do both. I'm quite envious of those of you that can! tsuga, you found, as I did, that the gardener was every bit as noteworthy as the garden. The link below was on a Denver news channel recently. The didn't site the study source, but it pretty much sums it up for me. Here is a link that might be useful: Taking photos may make your memory worse...See MoreHave you noticed that..........

Comments (28)I'm sure your feelings are just because this is a different trip than you've taken before. Nothing to worry about at all - just a hint to think carefully about all your needs while you are away. You've planned and prepared for possible seasickness, and I'm sure you're planning for everything else, too. I get that anxious feeling right before every trip. Right now I have it for DH's upcoming trip in late July. He will be a passenger on a container ship leaving from Houston. It will travel up the US east coast, making 5 to 7 stops - the itinerary isn't completely fixed just yet. But then it will go to the Bahamas, and on to England. The trip is estimated at 28 days - 9 days of that to cross the Atlantic. The container ship has 3 staterooms, and they are quite luxurious. There are 2 doubles, and 1 single, so a total of 5 passengers. They eat with the captain and crew. This is his trip of a lifetime. He has some business to conduct in Yorkshire, and then he will fly home. So he'll be gone for a minimum of 6 weeks, and I will be here caring for the animals. My anxiety is more based on making sure he has everything he needs - especially all the prescription medications! He's kind of absent-minded, and when you're on a ship for a month, well, you'd better have planned well!...See More- 6 years ago
