Dresser need not stay. Queen bed is 60” wide. That leaves you 3’ on either side of the bed. Replace small tables with chests.

I agree with Aunt above. I would do a drawers bachelors chest/night stand height on one side of bed and a slimmer drawered chest on the other. This way you can do away with the dresser under window and do a small bench. Hang the curtains close to the ceiling to give the room height. The TV height is too high, don't go past the entry door height and go a bit smaller. Do wall mount plug in lighting with swing arms. This way if the side of bed chests are different heights it won't matter. Put a nice painting on bed wall.

a queen bed will really help make the room feel bigger, good call. get the largest low dressers to serve as nightstands for either side of the bed. your dressers now are to much for the space. downsizing the tv is a good choice but getting it out of the bedroom is an even better one. the should be some wall space showing beside any dresser you choose so that it doesn't look like you crammed it into the space. pictures from Houzz as examples below

I honestly think your bedroom is lovely! And with the changes you are implementing, will look even better. I would bring in the warm tones you're looking for with new bedding for the new bed and also curtains if you really want to. Keep it simple. But eventually getting bedside tables with drawers is wonderful for increasing storage. I am at a point in my life where everything practically has to have a storage function.

Hello, I agree with the previous comment, having storage next to your bed is really useful - actually we are makers of nightstands, especially floating nightstands (www.mybettershelf.com). Bachelor chests next to the bed on either side so you can eliminate one dresser will really open up the room. I too love your glass lamps and they would easily mix with a pale taupe in new bedding to warm up the space. Get a simple clean ceiling fan in white to blend with the ceiling. I would eliminate the light fixture on the fan so it doesn't make your ceilings feel low. Once you get your bed, choose your bedding and go from there to pick a new paint color. What color headboard are you getting?

I think the Euro Sham Pillow would be a great color selection for the room. Sherwin Williams makes a color called Sea Salt that is beautiful. And Benjamin Moore does a color called Ice Cap that is just as lovely. Serene but moody and soft and blurry so walls just sort of fade away.....
