best hydrangea varieties to train to standard form that don't flop

Hi,

I'm considering training a paniculata variety of hydrangea into a tree form. I'm concerned that I don't use a variety that will have blooms so heavy that they weight down the flowers and branches. Some seem so heavy that the branches are at danger of breaking under the weight. So far I'm considering quickfire and fire and ice and have taken cuttings. Does anyone have suggestions of zone 4 hardy varieties that either did or didn't work for them?
