Jodie, the back of the chair is fabric. It's a light blue faux suede, we think.

Could you get away with one chair or could it go in the corner where plant is and get a smaller coffee table? Would be for conversation seating only and obviously not for TV viewing. I honestly can see not passing up on this fantastic chair.

Been busy working on design project, however thinking of what will work and look balanced. In progress of coming up with ideas. Remember when you have the chest painted it needs to have depth and appear as a piece of art itself, make sure and get someone that knows what they are doing.

Are you getting the chest painted? I would move lamp to the left of chest and position side by side and if you need to put decorative books underneath lamp to bring height up and 3d sculpture above for balance. I want to make this clock work in this space for you but to look as of it belongs there aesthetically. Not sure if this scale is right if you like this look below would add interest to the wall with clock and chest. Will try and give you a visual.

Yes ma'am, the plan is to get it painted. So we should move the lamp to the other side and hang the clock closer to the wall? How high should I hang the clock over the chest? And how many books would you put under the lamp? I love the cow head.

I like it, measure from the top of the clock to ceiling. What I like about the black and white it adds texture.

Measure with the clock sitting on the table or with it off the table an inch or two?

Jodie, not at home currently but I know the ceiling is 8' and the clock is 15"W x 31"H. Does that help or do I need to measure it exactly?

I think you need something as wide as the chest to balance above the clock and lamp. I do like the silver antler but still looking and have not found that perfect decor item yet. The black and white cow is the perfect texture look of colors but too small.

I like this. Where'd you find it? Do you like the clock on the opposite side now, as well?
