Comments (4)Wow - I love that visual, out there with a Pizza Slicer seeding your lawn into little furrows. Now THAT would DEFINATLY be the definition of a lawn Nut! I think the usefulness of the slit seeder is the rapid application of seed-to-soil. That's all it needs. For smaller areas, you can just put the seed on the ground and then just step on it lightly or use a roller in larger areas. Some compost helps.
