What Can I do to Fix this Container plant mistake?
Comments (8)If the mix is 3-4 years old, there probably are no nutrients left in it. If all you did was yank the tree, and didn't empty the container & refill, there probably is a soil compaction problem too, and perhaps the roots aren't getting any oxygen. This can be quite possible, especially since you think you get enough water. A container plant can almost never be overwatered if the soilmix is good. You should be able to see the water coming out the bottom. I grow more than half my tomatoes & peppers in 4 & 5 gallon buckets, and the years I don't remove/ammend/refill my containers, plant growth and production SUFFER GREATLY. Ands I water 2x a day if it didn't rain, more than 2L each time. You need to ammend the soilmix yearly, at least with compost or aged manure. I remix my containers with 30-50% compost. Also, because of frequent waterings, you need to fertilize regularly. Hope this helps....See MoreHow do I fix my mistake?!
Comments (14)I get it, you wanted a more crisp bright feel. One option is to make KD take the cabinets back and replace them with what you really wanted, and proceed with your original plan. Otherwise, it is fixable. The colors are relative to each other. There is no pure white. The cabinets only look dingy to your eye because they are next to the white trim, which is a white whiter than they are (and next to the stark awful drywall compound, as Val said). If you put an even creamier white next to the cabinets, THEY might very well look very white and crisp in comparison. So, assuming that you did make a mistake and the trim is too bright and is making them look dirty (which may be the case), you will need to re-paint the trim, and select a different blue for the wall. I do think the blue is too pastel now for the cabinets, it needs to be brought down some. How does the granite and backsplash go? Don't you worry, it is going to look beautiful. When we were having ours re-done and custom painted, I spent a whole afternoon crying because the color they promised was not the color that went on. But when it was over, it was just beautiful, and it all ended up very well. That will happen with your kitchen too, fear not....See MoreWhat did I doà Help me fix it....
Comments (5)Yeah there have been fixes posted and I've tried it before, can't remember what it is right now...some simple change up in tools or view I think. But I found it caused other problems by changing it so I put it back. I do wish they'd get this ongoing problem fixed here! I hate to try and read a recipe and figure out what all the symbols are in place of. So I usually just, if I see this in a recipe, skip over that recipe and say "OH scr** it!" and go to the next. It's too much trouble to try and guess what it's supposed to be....See MoreBertazzoni Appliances I hope I didn't make a mistake!
Comments (13)We recently bought a Bertazzoni MASFS30XV wall oven dispute some of the negative reviews we read and love it. Review complaints included fan noise and hot air coming out the front. Other than the hot air, very few reviews were actually associated with the operation or reliability of the oven Our oven is installed under the counter in an island and the old oven that we replaced was so hot it heated up the counter top and the door window was so hot you could not touch it when the oven was operating. I don't even think the old oven had a cooling fan. Yes the Bertazzoni does make some noise from the cooling fan, but I believe it is actually from the air movement and not the fan itself. This oven required a vent opening in the back of the installation space and a vent in the kick plate, but since we installed it in an island and not against a wall, the vent was installed in the back of the island with an antique cast iron heating grill cover over the opening. If you would not have a cooling fan to remove the exterior heat the surrounding area and door would get hot. Result of the cooling is this oven exterior remains very cool to the touch. Both the counter over our oven and the door glass remain very cool during operations, even at 500 degree Fahrenheit. This is a bonus if you have small children. We have used the bake, convection, and turbo modes so far, and the oven works great. Every aspect of this oven is a big improvement over our old box store stainless premium model oven....See Morekcandmilo
