Living room suggestions - TV placement, couch/chair style/layout?
Comments (8)Their current lay out block traffic flow. I would much rather go with a love seat and a few comfy chairs. How many in your family. That is how many seats you need. The rest is over kill and does anyone actually FILL a huge sectional or do three people use it? I am just not a fan. As for the TV placement, most want a visual of both the fireplace and the TV so your plan seems to be a decent option. The built in would be worth looking at...It is ironic how often the MOSTLY unused fireplaces everyone desires really messes with furniture arranging. Your new floors are to die for. This gray fad confuses me. Gray is cold, like stainless. Your kitchen and flooring are so warm and rich looking. Half your new space is painted warm the other cool... Which colors will you embrace?...See MoreLiving room too big for one seating area but too small for two. Help!
Comments (10)My living room is 17 1/2 x 15 1/2 I don't find it too large for a single seating area. I guess it depends on how you lay out the furniture. Where your TV is we have a fireplace with book shelves. The TV is in the book shelves with 2 chairs flanking the fireplace. I have my couch where you have your love seat and my love seat where you have you couch. Maybe switch your love seat and couch. This would push back the room and fill up the empty space....See MoreSectional vs Two Couches in Small Living Room
Comments (6)A sofa and two lounge chairs is always the most flexible, however a sectional small in scale might work. I might consider placing the TV in the RH corner instead of giving it a whole wall, but it's hard to tell without seeing that wall. You might want to consider adding think shelves to either side of the FP wall....See MoreWhat seating to put in the living room with my sofa? Please help!
Comments (1)IMO the bakers rack doesn’t work in the space at all I would do 2 chairs in a fabric that works with the sofa and the rug . I am a bit confused since it appears there are 3 sofas in the space and what are the flowered pieces ? Maybe take some pics from further back that show the whole space. I don’t see any end tables and I do see a lot of clutter like for instance the fairy lights on the railings and all the stuff in the DR and on the bakers rack . It is really hard to get a feel for the space so please better pictures for sure....See MoreJeet Jeet
