Comments (31)I am trying to understand why you want to view garden pictures on a tiny phone screen, when I can see it much larger on my PC. How can you appreciate nature on a tiny screen? I have a fast DELL PC and RoadRunner Broadband, no problems here. We happily got rid of cellphone plans many years ago, now have Tracphones only in our cars for emergencies. (In my past work life I was in high speed controls). Bernd...See MoreHow long before there is visible evidence of Round-up app
Comments (1)Takes about 7 days to notice the plant yellowing. If any of the plants are still green after a week, hit them again. BTW, you don't need to dig up sod to convert lawn. The easiest way is to spray with Round-up, wait two weeks and respray anything still green, then cover with mulch and plant. Another way is to cover the grass with 5-8 layers of newspaper, moisten the newspaper then cover with 4-6 inches of straw or mulch. Wait 6 weeks, and plant. You don't have the work of removing sod (and the problem of grass regrowing due to tiny bits of root left behind) and the soil is enriched by the decomposing sod....See MoreYour Favorite Apps for Iphone, Ipad, et al
Comments (26)Hi fellow parents, I am looking for beta testers for Brainfeed, my new iPad app. Brainfeed features educational, inspiring and entertaining short videos for children 7+, tweens, teens, and even inquisitive adults. Videos are selected to be age-appropriate, curriculum-based, engaging and visually stimulating. And the good part is the app provides a safe, child-friendly viewing experience free of advertising and inappropriate content. Brainfeed will launch on the App Store in February 2014. However, before I launch, I want to get feedback from parents and children to make sure that there are no teething problems when it goes live. As a thank you for testing the app I will give you a complementary 6 month subscription to the service, with absolutely no obligation once the trial period ends. If youâÂÂre interested in helping out, please send me an email at mark@brainfeed.org. If you want more information before committing please see my website at www.brainfeed.org. Thank you, Mark Hoffman mark@brainfeed.org Here is a link that might be useful: Brainfeed App...See MoreUpdate on my heart dr app
Comments (21)There is only one of you and your life is the result of the choices you make. PLEASE listen to the doctor. My husband has severe coronary disease with very bad circulation. He is not diabetic. However due to poor circulation, an ingrown toe nail he wouldn't see about was the start of his demise. The infection would not clear up due to poor circulation where not enough blood below the knee. After the infection, gangrene, and 5 surgeries, he only has a stump for a right leg. You are dealing with a serious problem. It will not go a way by itself. Have a pulmonologist do tests and find the problem now. How much can you enjoy your trip when you can't walk? Is it worth it? Why not get the tests, bypass surgery or medicine to help correct the problem, and then the trip? Life is too short as it is, don't give it up as my husband did. Can't go back and change the past. I sincerely wish you the best. Lynn...See Morekaremore55
