Comments (12)I prefer a single color because there is already a lot going on with all the angles on your house. I find the resulting play of light and shadow very attractive, but I think it is too busy if it is given additional complexity with a mix of colors, or contrasting trim. A greige color would look very good. Comments (3)If you commit to the stone/brick cladding first, then you can pull lighter/darker, more colourful/more neutral versions from the same Hue Family neighbourhood. The exterior has a far better chance of looking more cohesive - if they are considered in tandem, rather than one at a time. You can find near neutral colours from every Hue Family. They can be light/mid/dark in value. Does your homeowners association produce a guideline for colours, perhaps including LRV ? Comments (10)I'm hoping that someone who thinks limewashing the brick is a fine idea will join in. I agree the house would look better one color. If OP likes any of the paint suggestions posted here, problem solved. But since the other house sides would need to be painted, I would think lightening one wall of brick is the simplest solution. Otherwise, maybe paint the fascia to match the roof....See Moreqam999
