What would be the best colour for this accent wall?
I would like a much richer colour than the current white, but something that doesmt clash with the gold frame or the mahogany furniture.
I'm still deciding to go for either more of a Luxe traditional or maybe even a more modern colour to keep the space "trendy". I am considering gold tones, but I've heard some are too yellow or are too "cheesy".
The chandelier is being replaced with a chrystal chandelier, so matching the paint colour with brass's greenish hue shouldn't be an issue.
I feel like if the color isn't right, the room will not feel Luxe, but massively outdated instead, so that's why I'm asking all you talented houzzers out there for a bit of design knowledge! Thank you so much.

5 years agolast modified: 5 years agoI wouldn’t consider that wall to be an accent wall. If you paint it another color than the others, it will visually narrow your room.
To add color to the room think beautiful panels on the slider and a new chandelier.

5 years agoYour dining area and furnishings are not ornate enough to support a crystal chandelier. Select a multi light chandelier with fabric shades, paint the walls and select some color coordinated drapery panels.
