Comments (1)I think island pendants are entirely optional, and if you don't want them, skip them. If you're concerned you might change your mind, have the electrician wire for them but don't put them in now. Really to define the space we might suggest a larger rug so that the entire desk and chair fit on it, along with some filing cabinets or bookcases behind it. Comments (2)White is a classic color which fits will about any wall color. Were you thinking to paint all the walls and trim in the same color? (Hopefully different paint lines though). For the inside I would go with whatever looks good to you, but remember what the outside my look like with the blinds down.
