Buddy looks a little like a southern belle with that cone (hat) on. Cute little monkey.

Awww, poor Buddy. Often, a 'onesie' or a small t-shirt works to stop them from licking. Much more comfortable than a cone.

Jasdip - yes, Buddy didn't enjoy his headgear at all! But his bare patch cleared up nicely and he's fine now. We figured out that the bare spot likely appeared when he licked himself too much, being unhappy that his family was away on vacation. I will remember the "onesie" remedy in case of future stresses, since Buddy and his family are soon moving to a new home.
