From a hike we took almost 9 years ago. Man how time flies. This was when they used to love each other and never fought. Just gotta make it through these teenage years.
This was on that same hike. We were looking through old pictures last night and couldn't even remember taking these.

Comments (9)I meant to post this the other day when Casey first posted the picture of the Russian sailing ship. At the start of a month-long Caribbean cruise this impressive ship passed us. Even the crew of our ship came out on deck to gape at it as it went by. It was so big I needed to shoot several pictures and stitch them together as a panorama. Comments (15)At a recent family reunion at a state park in Ohio, one of the activities we did was painting. My sister-in-law brought along several cardboard "canvases" and an assortment of inexpensive paints. The initial suggestion was to paint a tree such that others could then decorate it with multi-colored "leaves", but in the end most people opted to not have others put the "leaves" on their trees. These are the painting that the group created: The one in the bottom row, center is mine. I was definitely channeling Bob Ross from PBS. I think nearly every time I saw Bob Ross' show he did a painting similar to this....See More

From a hike last fall, strange fungus-y looking growths on trees
The third one I discovered were not fungus, but instead were insects with white fuzzy tufts.

11 years agoFantastic pictures today. Happy anniversary, Raven. Your roses are gorgeous! Mine is a church steeple in Boston. The "one if by land, two if by sea" steeple to be exact!!
11 years agoMore Black/White photos I took and printed. Front of DH's 1946 Chevy pickup. Old trucks and cars are so much cooler than todays.
