I just started using Evernote Software. It seem to be a big help to organize web-based documents for teaching and research instead of just bookmarking them. Of course, personal items like for the home can be used, too.

I am always carrying a water bottle, It's pretty much all I drink & I have been through quite a few. I either drop them & they break or leak or they don't keep my water cold enough for my liking or one of my grandkids will lug them off.

A friend recently paid a ridiculous price for a stainless steel lined one. Yes, it is really nice but I can't justify the cost. Off to TJ Maxx I go, in search of a similar product & I scored! I have used this water bottle exclusively for 3 months, VERY happy with it....oh, I paid $7.99 for it, LOVE TJMAXX!

I've been using Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer self tanner and I really like it. It creates an even, natural looking tan, and it has very little self tanner odor, which I am very sensitive to. I think that the fact that you apply it to your wet skin, before drying off helps it to go on more evenly. I was worried about discoloring my towels, but I use white towels, and no color has transferred to them.

I also like their regular wet skin moisturizer. Unlike the Nivea wet skin moisturizer you don't rinse off after applying.

I was thinking just the other day while using This Powder, that I should post in in a products we love topic.

Too Faced Primed and Poreless. On the back of the compact it says "skin smoothing pressed powder."

Wow! It goes on white which freaked me out at first, but after blending it with the puff that comes with it, there is no white, but it does exactly as advertised. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing powder at all, I don't get that tight feeling on my face.

I wear it by itself in the summer, meaning no foundation or blush, and in the winter I put it over foundation or tinted moisturizer. You can also wear it under makeup, but I haven't tried that.

A bit pricey and I'm almost out, so I'm going to see if I can find something similar with good reviews like this has.

I like to listen to DVD commentary tracks on my laptop, but the laptop's internal speakers are so poor that I cannot get the volume loud enough to hear. I went looking for some super cheap external speakers and found THIS. It works very well for my purpose and if I break it, I don't lose much of an investment.

What do people use Retin-A for again? I think my DS was given a prescription to reduce acne? I'm not sure if he still uses it, Cetaphil worked fine for him. But y'all make me think I need to get some!

I found a new bread. We usually don't buy bread at the grocery, we buy whole loaves at a local boulangerie. My one DD requested Sprouted Whole Grain instead of the Multigrain I usually get and I found this, below. YUM

my new favorite thing is Sunday Riley's Good Genes cream, it contains an aha lactic acid, it's the first time I see instant results with a product, my skin feels more hydrated and my tone is evened out and I have a shine. It has a tingly feel when you first put it on. it's expensive so I use sparingly. Sephora has a box available with trial sizes of 5 Sunday Riley's products which I ordered to travel with.

I'll be there July 2 - August 22. I registered on the State Dept. website, but wasn't sure what to put for an address in Spain, as I'll be staying in a different place every night, and most days won't know where that is until I get there! I do have a room booked for my first night in Madrid, so I put that down.

Re: Retin A (Renova) - I think that it's the only thing that has been proven to improve wrinkles. Also used for acne.

Ask for "Retirides". It's for wrinkles and spots, one of the few things that really works.

I'll be walking the Camino de Santiago from the French border to the Atlantic Ocean in Galicia. That will take about 5 weeks - more if I take an alternate route. If I have extra time (and I'm pretty sure I will) I'd like to get down to the south for a couple of days.

I haven't bought bread in aaaaaages but when I did and it wasn't a market day, I went for the Alvarado st. I like all the sprouted varieties-- sprouted wheat, multigrain and there used to be a rye but I haven't seen it in a number of years.

Mtn, start the Retin-A now before you need it. That way you won't ever get wrinkles. I hope you ladies are prepared to be hot. It was 105 when I was in Madrid last week. I went to Seville, too, but not Grenada.

I've been following the weather in Spain. I think that the hot spell has broken - for now. I know that doesn't necessarily apply to the south though! I also have an invitation to spend a few days at a beach house up the coast from Barcelona. That might be the best option in a heatwave.

How nice, Terri! Sounds fabulous. Wait, isn't 1929Spanish going to Spain, too? I know someone who was in Madrid last yr and it was 105 there too. My DD1 is in France living with a host family and it has been deadly hot. It should only be high 70s, hopefully it will cool by the time we get there. But Seville and Granada are typically high 90s --- oddly, hotter than it will be in Morocco. Can't figure that out quite.

Ded - any recommendations for Seville and Madrid? How do you use Retin-A? And what brand did you say you got?

ETA; Funky, it figures. We always pick the same things. We were separated at birth. I was born in PA, y'a know.

I only went to Seville for a day, so I probably missed as much as i saw. Hit the usual sights -- Plaza de Espana (where Lawrence of arabia was filmed), Plaza d'Toros, the Alcazar and the Cathedral of Seville (as opposed to the Barber) to visit the grave of Christopher Columbus. We ate Spanish tortillas while sitting on a wall. Lots of cute winding streets and shops to explore.

Madrid is gorgeous. I loved the area called Bario des las Letres. Lots of good casual restaurants. We ate tapas at one called Lateral and the food was great. Order Summer Wine if the others don't want to share a pitcher of sangria. Everyone -- all ages -- were out and about until well into the evening. Hard to find a restaurant that opens before 8:30. Go visit the turtles in the train station. The Metro is easy to use and clean. The Prado is overwhelming. I enjoyed the Sofia Reina which has Guernica and other modern art.

Best of all were the small towns. Ronda was beyond gorgeous and so interesting.

Now -- back to product recommendations! I recommend packing cubes ! They are the best for keeping your clothes organized when traveling.

I just installed an AT&T Microcell at my lake cabin. We have AT&T cell phones and we can rarely get a signal. I've ended up driving down the road more than once to make or take a call. We have a land line but about the only place we can call that isn't long distance is the nextdoor neighbor. Voila - hooked the microcell up to my wi-fi router and now I have five bars all the time.

Retin A, available by prescription, will help to diminish wrinkles, promote collagen production, and improve skin texture but the (diminished) wrinkles will still come.. Less potent retinols can be found in many skin care products

"Weleda Skin Food" is my new favorite rich skin cream for dry areas such as feet, hands, arms, etc.

"Norwex" cleaning products are my new best friend. No chemicals, my house stays cleaner longer, and the floor system has made my life so much easier (was so frustrated with constantly cleaning my wood and tile floors that I was on the verge of reaching out to my neighbors for house cleaner recommendations.). The downside is that it is a direct sales company a turn-off to many people but, lucky for me, my friend is a hobbyist consultant who passes along her discount, content with the promotional items she receives.
