I think once we have all the cabinets and counters installed, we will buy a framed mirror and put it up to see how it looks (thanks for the advice sweeby). I was in a mirror store and the lady pointed me to a bronze finish mirror which she said people put up in wet bars. It has a smokeyish brownish tint, and seems to reduce the glare. Comments (4)Were you planning to present your letter by snail mail or in person? Any fabricator worth his weight would be able to accomplish what you ask, but there are too many variables to handle by mail. Your last sentence says it all. That sentence can be handled by a phone call to prospective fabricators of your choosing. Then you can go from there with the takers...I would expect all of them to say "Yes". Comments (61)Okay. My 2 cents. It appears that the dining room is a bit squishy. Lots of big furniture. My thought would be to remove the sideboard, put a banquette along the wall and shift the dining table over. This is a tad fancier then what you are going for but this is right beside a kitchen peninsula...same layout. I think they shifted the chandelier over so it is centred with the table. If you search for "banquette dining" on PINTEREST you'll get lots of inspiration. Just a thought to give you more breathing room if desired. :) The balance between the beautiful banquet and the open chairs would be perfect (in your style)....See MoreNeed advice on what color back splash
