Not really a bargain, but a RAK. We went out to dinner for my hubby's 83rd birthday. Somebody paid for our dinners. The server said it was a woman, but when I told him to please thank her for us, he said she had already left the restaurant. God bless whoever it was for their kindness.

I finally bit the bullet and have three new bras! (Well, they are on order.) Macy's "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" ad lured me in. I'd still be lost without a wonderful saleslady who 'kept 'em coming' for half an hour. The Wacoal bras were too tight at 32 and too loose at 34, but the Bali Double Support underwire bras (all lace, no padding), were just right -- 32DD. Regularly $39 each; mine for $66.30 plus tax with a coupon.

I did that, stopped at Maxx for a return, got potting soil and two geraniums at Home Depot, and came home sore and limping. Slept until 8 a.m. today. No wonder I resist shopping!

I forgot I also got a box of six different fabrics probably 3 yards in each bundle, one dollar for the whole box! I am happy with that too. A very nice heavy angel food cake pan for $3.00. Those came from the barn sale.

I stopped by my favorite dumpster behind a thrift shop that throws away better stuff than they sell and got an antique oil lamp. Had been in an antique store and still had the $45 price tag on it. Someone donated it and they tossed it. Missing a chimney but I have one.

I went to the thrift store yesterday. I hadn't been there in months. It was 50% off day. I bought a 4" blue glass "evil eye" sun catcher for 50 cents. I will send it to my sister. She is into those kind of things. Also for 50 cents I got a Righteous Brothers hits CD. I loved their music in high school.

Best deal was a Etienne Aigner leather handbag in very good condition for $4.50. Good colors for summer. I like handbags that are different.

Every year about this time I get furniture, power tools, lawn ornaments and exercise equipment that has been left on the curb for bulk refuse. A little cleaning, painting and/or repair and I either keep it to use or donate it to the church rummage sale.

You know those Pyrex nesting bowls, blue, red, green and yellow. I got the yellow and the blue bowl for ONE DOLLAR for both of them. It was actually 75 cents but I gave the lady a dollar. This was at a garage sale. Best deal so far, of the season. We were so disappointed today, we had planned on going to our best flea market today but it was a rain out...boohoo!

$350 worth of brand new GAP clothes for 24 cents!!! We have a GAP Visa card and since way more than half my wardrobe comes from GAP, this was a bargain. However, most of what we got were for b-day gifts for daughter, son, son in law granddaughter. I got Capris, a tee, socks and spray and husband got shorts. AND we have $180 left for another trip.

I found 4 curtain panels(To span across a bay window) $1.99ea. An Eddie Bauer vented hiking hat $2. 3 new in the box hugger ceiling fans with lights for $97.

Mangoes, 3/$1.00! Big ones and they are delicious. Also, .99¢ pineapples.

I have not been shopping much lately. I am trying to get rid of stuff so hate to bring more in. But they did have the ribs on sale at Kroger today which was great since I needed some for Sunday.

I just got 2 antique oil lamps from a young fellow on nextdoor. He is trying to raise money to go to camp this summer so his parents gave him a few antiques to sell. I mainly wanted to help him but I do have a small collection of antique oil lamps and these were very unique. They look great on my mantle. They are a petite size not a chip and all original. I actually gave him more than he asked me for. He was so sweet and excited about the trip. He is going to Gatlinburg, TN.. I was happy and so was he so it was a deal.

Oh I found a sports bra I actually like and it's comfortable, it has a breathable mesh back and a zipper front so I can easily use it and it was only $16. I just ordered a second one.

I bought a blouse at the thrift store a couple of weeks ago for 2.25. Today I saw it a store in a tourist trap town for 47.00
