Comments (15)That's what I was told, total remission. When I asked my doctor about the wording, she said with cancer it means that for the time being, you have no cancer, but there is no guarantee that somewhen in the future it might not show up again in another form maybe and 20 years down the road. So, congratulations and as I said to her: "see you in 2030....See MoreOk..Requesting Prayers Again!! Please...
Comments (18)thanks again everyone...really!! tj, my son is working and seems to be doing ok. The problem is, he probably wouldn't tell me IF he didn't feel good w/the fear of having to go back in hosp or back on meds. I know he's been off of his meds. and I'm thrilled, and God willing everything will turn out great on this visit...I just totally panic everytime we do bloodwork. I also know that prayer is powerful, I totally believe the only reason my son survived this was because of prayer. We were told he would not make it, but I knew he would. Plus we had great doctors who just would not give up!! tj? is your son/daughter ill? I did not know..I will definetely add your family to my prayer list! Comments (18)I will be praying for you MIL, pesky. My mom has gone through two different chemos for her lung cancer. She hasn't been on anything since May, and her hair has grown back, she feeling good (of course, not like what she was before her first chemo) can go shopping, etc. The drs. are wanting to put her on the Tarceva pill now, and she is not going to do it. Although, controversial, if any of you have read Suzane Somers book "Breakout", that is exactly what my mom went through with chemo, and it was awful. If we had it to do over again, my mom would not have done anything, and we all feel like she really would have been at her best if she had not done any chemo at all. I wish we could find a place where people who hasn't done chemo, to see how they fared, like a website or group, etc. At least she is feeling good now, but, who knows how long. We have found it hard to find a good caring doctor, that isn't in it for all the money they make off cancer patients. We are rushed though like a herd of cattle in dr. visits. I have a new dr.for her to go to, if she will....See MoreOT-prayers please for Michelle's family
Comments (9)Thanks everyone! There will be no services, only a private burial, I doubt Jean's up to much more. The office folks were on their way back from a funeral for one of the salesman when they got the news, that man died of cancer too.... so sad. Thanks for uplifting them all! I'm sure they feel the support! Lisa...See More
