Early reports were that someone set the fire at 2309 W Lindley just before noon, said Bobby Lax, a battalion chief with the Oklahoma City Fire Department. Two vagrants who were inside the single-story house escaped uninjured, but the house was a total loss, Lax said. The vacant house sustained about $20,000 in damage, while the adjacent houses each sustained several thousand dollars in heat damage, Lax said.
