Oh, a couple of weeks ago I mentioned waking up one morning and one of our throw cushions from the sofa or loveseat was beside the bed. Smudge our Maine Coon had somehow dragged it there. Last nite he was singing away like he always does when we're in bed, but he was singing real high, and funny sounds. This morning, there was a pillow out in the hallway.

There was a beautiful Cardinal in the atrium yesterday! I loved seeing it in there. I do have bird houses in there because some tiny finches keep building nests in my plants. I am scared of drowning them when I water.

Two different turtles we've seen in our yard. The box turtle was an unsurprising find, but the snapping turtle (whose shell was about 12" by 18") really seemed out of place, since we don't have any water on our property.

omg This is the first time I have ever done this. I don't think I can do it again if I tried. It will take me lots of practice before I can do it again, because I really don't know how I did it. I used some of Ravencajuns advice from the last time it was on here and I just tried to use some of debby_ab advice she just gave Joann. Even though I couldn't read what debby wrote on the side. Anyhow this is a picture of one of the rugs that I make. I had to hang it on my DD clothesline to get a picture. You can see how the rows are on the gray better than on the flowered material. It has approximately 160 rows on it. Now if only I can figure out how to get the pictures off of my camera I would feel really proud.
