Persil ProCaps...do they smell like Persil ProClean?
Comments (29)I don't know what I will do if Cheer is discontinued. I have many boxes of original (non-HE, Larsi-scent) Tide powder and probably have a box of the large Cheer. If it's gone I'll probably have to go to an unscented or maybe Miele Color powder. I was actually in the Miele store today because my vacuum just stopped working. They are now selling laundry appliances and detergent, whereas previously they only dealt with the vacuums and floor care. They have both Miele detergents and a variety of Persil. When I go back to pick up my vacuum, I'll probably get some liquid Persil (euro). I've never tried it....See MorePersil (USA) Power-Pearls being discontinued??
Comments (91)Yes, allergic to Tide Free and Gentle AND Tide Pur. It's very frustrating. I've tried All Free and Clear, but it has been a while. I bought a ton of Wisk Pure and Free?, but I ran out of that sometime last summer, and I don't have anymore. The Biokleen is only HE because it requires less detergent. I don't know that I trust it. I tend to have to use quite a bit of detergent when washing, though I haven't had sudsing issues with most detergents, even with adding STPP. I'm super bad about getting stains out, but I do wash diapers, and they have to be clean. I'm hoping that the toddler decides to potty learn soon, but he's not super excited about it. I need to use something with OB's in it because I hate dingy whites. When I used only Country Save, everything was dingy. :(...See MoreWhat should I use instead of Persil Power Pearls?
Comments (15)One I forgot I had until comming across it in the deepest corner of the closet a few weeks ago. ..Mexican Pinol with Bleach powder...don't know if it has an activator but none the less its some good stuff. I ran out of Tide with Bleach and son dropped off a load of only white socks, I was impressed at how white they ended up. I used it on some white sheets and was well pleased. Min suds and second rinse was pretty clear. Sorry I don't know what alls in this stuff as I had dumped it from the bag into a metal tin....See MoreA deal on Persil Pro-Clean Original Pro-10 I couldn't pass up.
Comments (15)Liquid Persil dosing can be tricky. It does generate more suds than some other products but the suds typically dissipate promptly on rinsing. I've don't have appreciable suds in the rinse, although I have moderately+ hard well-water which makes rinsing "easier" than softened water. The WORST oversudsing I've had with Persil liquid was when washing a single (queen) pillow. I used what I thought was a reasonable dose (probably 1-1/2 tbsp) ... and TONS of suds. However, pillows are much more tricky than other items because of holding air (which exacerbates sudsing when it releases) and because the amount of fabric is really minimal compared to the physical size....See Morerococogurl
