Comments (7)Marcia, Dictamnus (Gas Plant) is one of my all time favorite perennials. These pics were taken about 20 years ago at my former home in Michigan. It grew very well for me there. Here in PA, I have had no luck with it. The sandy Michigan soil must have been the charm. I have tried the match thing and indeed it does very briefly flare up. That volatile oil can cause a nasty rash in some people. Very much like the rash of poison ivy. 9 years agoThe granddog. Nothing excites her more than a bike ride. The wind in her face and all those spring time smells coming from the fields passing by.
9 years agoI've been obsessed with the cuteness of Misty's toes. Couldn't figure out why until I realized that for over 30 years, we had all black cats so their toes were all but indistinguishable. Misty's however are each outlined in darker gray fur, making them obvious and so cute! Talk about toe cleavage!! :)

I too love furry paws! Even though we paid for a cast of Smudge's paws, they weren't able to get the fur, just his pads. I much prefer the scanned prints that the vet gave us, because I commented that I love his furry feet. I wish I saved the money on the cast.
Anyway, here is Roxie as a kitten; she too has furry feet.
