Oh no! Ruthieg_tx's car flipped over. :-) And before crawling out of the wreckage, she took a picture and posted it here for us. :-) This was the sunset in our backyard a few days ago. I was out working in the yard, and noticed the trees had strange pinkish hue. So I moved to where I could see the western sky, and ... wow.

The idiot who looks after the apt bldg across the street insists on using the snow blower when a quick shoveling will do. NO snow on the sidewalks, streets or parking lot, yet he's out at 6:30 this morning. There was some ice here and there, but he'd rather fire up the blower. I'm sure it's good for it!

They're cute, Casey! This is Mom's wedding picture (obviously). She ended up leaving my Dad in less than 2 years. I was 21 mths old and my brother was 3 months old at the time. She sure was happy that day. (he doesn't have a moustache, although it looks like he does.) It'll be 5 years this summer that Mom died, she'd have turned 80 this past Feb. Hard to believe.

Thanks skibby, but I'm very worried about them. They're right outside our screened back porch so I can look at them any time without disturbing them or Mom, but the nest is less than 4 feet high. Not a great location for a bird nest in my opinion.
