I love those tiles and think they would look gorgeous in your space! Your furniture is neutral enough to work with anything. I'm thinking the curtains would be fine, Try it and see how it looks - you can always add to back if it feels out of balance. Beautiful room!

I love the tile, and would look good with your furniture. However, I prefer to keep large surfaces neutral, particularly sofas and floors. I also like to change out my rugs and pillows in my sunroom seasonally or by whim, so I don't want to have a large pattern (to use sheelsback's appropro quip) ordering me around. From looking at your choice at pillows and rugs, it looks like you like pattern. That floor will really limit those choices.

I can see why you love that room. I have a similar one...it's where we really live. Lol. I saw silimar tiles on an HGTV episode, I thought they looked great. I think they would look GREAT in your porch. Or, if you did the cement, that would look great too. A coworker did cement which has color and is polished looking. I had to ask what the flooring was, it is gorgeous. Not sure about the balanced feel of the curtains. You could run the rod completely around the room and have a narrow white panels or white sheers, between the larger frame sides of the windows on the north side. I did that around my porch/sunroom; my rods are white so they disappear into the walls.

More choices! I agonized over the color of the ceiling fan and finally decided on white and as simple as possible. Same with the curtain rods--back and forth between white and black and then read somewhere that rods are the eyebrows of the room and decided on black, which would go with the black metal on the furniture frames. But not ordered yet and in any case a simple thing to spray paint. Any views on rod color also appreciated!

On the tile, I do love the cement tile look (these are frost resistant porcelain from Home Depot) but appreciate the limiting factor. Yes, I do like pattern! If I went with a solid color, I am stuck on what color to choose. The current color is a light aqua, which I do like, but I can't find anything like it.

I did a white ceiling fan too. I did wood rods and painted them white, only because I didn't want eyes to go up, but rather focus through the windows at the landscaping. This is my fan and my rods. I change out the panels each spring to white sheers and reverse in fall.

Lizzlerobin, Thanks for that picture. I realize now that I have put
in the Eze Breeze windows, I now have panes instead of large expanses of
screen. The white rods would look much better as I don't think I need
more going on in the window area. Also confirms white fan choice for
me, leaving tile as final choice.

Here are some others I have
considered, all frost proof porcelain, which is my limitation for an
outdoor room. They don't hit all the colors as the first does but some
are more neutral.

If you decide to go with it-watch your white in the curtains..shouldn't be too bright white. And you'll probably want to tie it more with accessories (pillows, rug, etc)

It'd be great with your main furniture pieces..smaller things are more easy fix, and you can play with these endlessly.

Have you considered solar shades to keep the view while shielding out the bright sun? If you are using the curtains solely for sun control in select windows, the shades might be better, since they virtually disappear when raised. What a pleasant room!
