Bobby! I have missed you on here, seems like a lot of the regular posters are gone...and some are back! LOL I could be wrong, but if anyone were to do a search on all the forums, they would see what I'm talking about. Something just seemed very familiar with the bragging and grandstanding...Who calls their condo a 'luxury' condo, and then six months later moves into a 'McMansion'...I don't think anyone who actually lives in that type of house would refer to it as such...but what really was interesting was about three years back, he referred to his 'wife' in a thread but now refers to a 'husband'??? I just don't get it. Anyway, I'm so glad to see you back, I'm emailing Lifesabeach to see what shes up to...maybe we can get her to start "Are you an Overnighter2!?"

Albertson stores carry Arm and Hammer HE. For instance, the Albertson store in my area is Jewel/Osco, so you will have to go to the Albertsons website to see if there is one near you. You can also contact Church and Dwight and they can tell you where you may be able to get it. Also, if it is of any interest you can now get Arm & Hammer Essentials Free 3X HE at Drugstore.com. However, it is pretty expensive. I am waiting for it to come out in stores before I try it as it will not cost as much. When I called Church and Dwight they asked me if I could call back in a couple months to check on the store availablity status of the new detergent. It is so new to the market that it has not really hit any stores yet.

Hi Bea..this psssed me by somehow. No I didn't add STPP or oxygen bleach, just the detergent. I honestly didn't have much suds and after the rinse when they died down they never reappeared....the towels ended up clean and white, but they were already white lol, one use wouldn't make a dingy towel. But I wonder if they would stay white if this is what I continued to use. Which I'm not going to find out, LOL..I like white towels washed with Tide with Bleach and STPP to aid with good rinsing. Now today I used the Purex powder on a load of colors moderate to heavy soils but I added STPP, and hot water there was no suds at all and I used a full cup. Suds tests on towels are never a fair test since they always kick up the suds. The colors were probably soiled enough to kick down the suds, the heavier the soil the less suds, for me anyway. Everything came clean, This also wasn't a fair test as I added STPP. All in all Bea I had acceptable results so far, but I have a feeling without STPP it wouldn't have worked very well without the phosphates. Just a feeling. But it was fun to play around with it.haha

Hi Cheryl, how are you? Yes, I too saw this at Costco. It does have enzymes, and I am too nervous to try it out on my sensitive son's clothing. It doesn't have the same "unscented" scent as the regular a&h free and clear. It's just not worth the risk, as my son does fine with the one I am currently using without enzymes. His clothing come out nice, no fading and colors are nice. I do pretreat out of the washing machine with oxyclean etc... and then rinse it out by hand. The one I get at shoprite, does not say oxyclean on it. I am sure this would be a great choice for people without enzyme allergies. It was $11.79 for that huge bottle.
