I live in Troy OH 45373 and I also can't find Arm Hammer HE detergent. I am able to find Purex HE detergent though.

In my area, A&H "he" can be found in Vons/Safeway stores.

I used the "he" liquid, but found it did not clean very well and created alot of suds. I think Purex "he" cleans a bit better and does not suds at all. Purex "he" can be found at Kmart,

I've been using it for a while now....mostly b/c my Tom Thumb (aka Randall's) grocery store ran it 4/$10 and I bought 8 at that price;-), but I've had no problems with suds or clothes not coming clean at all. I don't know that I've seen it sold anywhere else around here though.

I cannot find Arm and Hammer He in my market area either. I did try some of the Purex He, however, I was disappointed in its cleaning ability. I only use it to wash sheets and towels now. It doesn't clean well enough to get my kids' dirtiest clothes clean enough. At $2.89 for 32 loads it is a good deal for washing lightly soiled items only. For the kids' clothes, I stick to my Tide or All.

I live in Iowa, and I have not seen it in any of our stores here either. I would really like to try this product. I have used A&H liquid and powder detergents in the past and have been very happy with them. I have tried the Purex HE, and did not like it all. So far my favorite HE detergents have been Tide, All Small and Mighty, and Wisk HE (no suds at all) and the clothes come out really clean. Whites seem to be whiter with Wisk than with Tide HE. I have also used Gain HE.

Have you thought of calling A&H to ask if/where the product is sold in your area? Or emailing them? Is there a place at their website to type in your ZIP code to find where it's sold?

I see great big buckets of A&H detergent at my warehouse store at great prices, but I don't think it's the HE formula.

I've been very happy with Sears' big buckets of HE powder detergents for most of my laundry. They clean very well and are very inexpensive. They have virtually no scent, as well.

For our nice clothes (church, office), I like Ultra Cheer ColorGuard HE liquid detergent - I haven't seen it in a powder formula.

i bought a&h he at big lots. it was fairly inexpensive. i have not seen it anywhere else. by the way, we live in ohio. i wasn't too overwhelmed by the cleaning power. it wasn't special, like for instance cs. i have yet to find any a&h he powder. still waiting for them to create a formula.

I tried liquid detergent and i didn't like that much as I got blue stains from it.

I've found Arm&Hammer HE at Safeway here in Portland, OR. However, looking at their website it looks like they don't have a HE version free of dyes and fragrances. And they only have the HE in liquid.

Now that I have an HE front-loader that seems to do a good job of rinsing and have started using vinegar, I no longer feel the need for a "free and clear" detergent.

Albertson stores carry Arm and Hammer HE. For instance, the Albertson store in my area is Jewel/Osco, so you will have to go to the Albertsons website to see if there is one near you. You can also contact Church and Dwight and they can tell you where you may be able to get it.

Also, if it is of any interest you can now get Arm & Hammer Essentials Free 3X HE at Drugstore.com. However, it is pretty expensive. I am waiting for it to come out in stores before I try it as it will not cost as much. When I called Church and Dwight they asked me if I could call back in a couple months to check on the store availablity status of the new detergent. It is so new to the market that it has not really hit any stores yet.

I live in west central ohio and im not sure if you are close to the giant eagle in hilliard but they do carry the arm n hammer he. It is on the bottom shelf.

I've seen Arm & Hammer HE liquid in the 100 oz. size at Lowes in the cleaning supplies aisle.

Add me to the disappointed and now former A&H users. I used it for a long time and it was hard to resist at $1.50 a bottle and less, sometimes less than free, but that's about all it was really worth when you really look at it. Had to add a lot of additives (read "cost") to that "cheap" detergent to get acceptable results.

I'll keep an eye out for it for you though, and let you know what I find.

I'm almost certain I recently saw it at a Target.
