I corned my own beef brisket, and baked it, wrapped in foil. I really like the hash from the leftovers better than I like the original meal, and so we had that too! With cabbage, of course, and potatoes. No dessert, but the apple cake looks good. I seldom make desserts as Elery doesn't eat sweets and I shouldn't eat a whole cake!

I have never been a fan of corned beef, but I've only had it from a restaurant and a deli.... none were good experiences. I get my "reuben" made with pastrami when I can. :O) ALL of your corned beef looks wonderful!!

dcarch, what is your dark sauce in your 'shamrock pepper' photos? I'm guessing a soy or balsamic reduction, but my guess is probably wrong. :)

Annie, that hash looks excellent and it makes me think of my Dad. He loved to make hash....

Annie -- that's part of St. Patrick's tradition -- the corned beef hash on the day after! Which is why you make LOTS of potatoes! I adore corned beef hash -- yours looks delicious!
