I like them all, but if you love the last one you should do it. After all, when you're in your room to sleep, it will be dark and you'll have your eyes closed. Hard to be energized with those two things in play!

You might be surprised at the replies you get. I, too, like the citron the best, in fact I don't particularly like the griege or teal at all. Citron pulls the color right from your drapes and a bit of your bedding and compliments both beautifully. The teal walls (and I love teal) is just too much. Yes to the citron!

I like the citron also with your bedding and drapes.

The last is my favorite and similar to my Ben Moore bedroom color, which I can't recall the name of at the moment. :-)

Thanks everybody! The green was of course what I really wanted--that was probably clear enough from my post--but I was afraid it wasn't a sensible choice. Greige is sensible, but maybe too much so given how eccentric I've been with other paint choices in my house. With a different quilt I think I could be quite happy with blue, but the teal quilt doesn't play well with many blues.

But since I've got a least 6 votes for green, it can't be too crazy.

My3dogs, you might be thinking of BM Apple (my pic is Behr Honeydew, which is a close match), or maybe BM Apples and Pears, which is a bit yellower and lighter. They are both great colors.

I had to get out my BM fan decks to remind myself what it is. HC-1 Castleton Mist, which looks very different in various lighting. This is an old pic of when I first did it. It looks paler here than it does in real life.

I would absolutely do a green in your room especially because you said you love it. IMO, finding a color that makes you happy is half the battle.

BTW, we have a soft lighter green in our downstairs bath, SW Celery. It looks very similar to M3Dogs color just more opaque. I also have Behr Honey Dew in our office along with teal which is definitly on the brighter side and Behr Grass Cloth in our pantry & mud room. I was originally worried with each one, but have found all three to be easy to live in.

Here's what we did with the Honeydew....this pic is old and from when we were still putting the room together. I wanted happy and that's what I got.

I affectionately call it pukey green but I truly love it. It is a cheerful color and goes great with your selections.

The walls are Swiss Coffee now and I feel like I'm in an institution.

Honeydew doesn't look florescent at all in person, it may be on the brighter side, but it's not offensive or hard to be in at all.

I think it's too yellow for the bedroom, though.

Another vote for the green, but I might go a bit greener, like SW Melange.

This really old thread, has a picture of a master bedroom in Melange Green.

Our master bedroom is painted SW Springtime. I love it. Yes it is bright, but I wanted a very colorful Susan Sargent kind of look. I don't have any recent photos but I am using Dena Home Kalani bedding and I love the overall look. It's definitely not one of those "peaceful retreat" kind of master bedrooms, but it makes me happy every time I walk in there!

the green in Ikplatow's bathroom pic is how the SW Celery looks in our bathroom. I think a lighter, softer version of the green against a darker teal would be pretty. That quilt is really lovely, being able to match prints like that takes talent.

I wasnt commenting on the "florescence" of any color here - just thinking of a former neighbor's kids room in a really bright neon green that he picked out - not that I cared - he liked so why not. Just would be too much for an adult BR I think ... but bottom line is, its your place and indeed if the rest of the house is vibrant and colorful then certainly I would not wimp out in the bedroom. Lighting will do whatever you need to do, if you want it more restful and less energizing.

I actually love the whole yellow-green thing and have left a trail of former apartments & rooms in that color over the years! Right now Im debating whether to keep my very old Martha Stewart K mart colors, Caneware and Meadow Way, or to venture into something new. I love them bc they are - for me- just the right balance of colorful and not overwhelming - like yellow, a little yellow-green seems to go a long way.

I love yellow green. I used ryegrass by behr in my kitchen it is a bit softer than cerelery but still a happy color. I had a greige bed room for years and although I never loved my room I always blamed it on the furniture. Than this summer I repainted the room and keep all the furniture and now I love my room furniture and all. I did not realize how depressing the putty greige really was till I brightened the room with a new color. I sleep just as well if not better now in my brighter painted space. Go with a color that leaves you happy!

Thanks for all the color suggestions. Now that the color family choice is made, I have to dig into choosing the right shade, and you've given me a great place to start.

I agree with the citron, but I'd go with a lighter, toned down version of it. I think it will be great! Paint is hard, no doubt about it!

Another one to try may be BM Pale Vista. My DD has it in her bedroom at our beach cottage.

I take back the Pale Vista idea. I don't think it's yellow enough.

My sister has had Castleton Mist in her living room for years. Looks nothing like the posted pics. Maybe bc she doesn't get a ton of light but it barely looks greeen.

I have used BM Stem Green in a few houses. Love it so much but it might be too green for you. Here is a sample pic from google.

Another vote for a pale yellow-green! My daughter's bedroom also faces northeast, and we painted it Glidden Iced Cilantro. It's been on the walls for 10 years and I still love it-- so fresh and springy and surprisingly neutral. It may be paler than what you're looking for, but I love it as a backdrop for a riot of color, which is what she's got going on throughout her room. The bottom of her walls is actually white beadboard (ceiling is pale blue), but you can see some of the Iced Cilantro in this picture on either side of the window... Not the best picture, but hopefully enough to get the idea.

I think your bedding and curtains are so pretty and will look great with fresh, spring green walls :)

BM Savannah Moss might be pretty.

If too much you could always do a small wall in BM Willow Creek
