Thanks again, everyone! My gram doesn't like to have her picture taken but I might take pictures of the food that we make. She never really cooks big meals anymore but she does make things like the salads (potato, macaroni, etc.) and I do make a mean fried steak (not to brag). I like the idea of calling the salad "Gram's Salad". Thanks for offering on how to post pictures but I already have! I post on the garden forums and I did take a picture of the fried green tomatoes and mom's new cookware she got. I don't have the best camera but I do get some nice pictures. Usually if I want something to eat when I'm there, she gets me to cook it or dad if he's there (when we visit). Only pee fest will be DH and I as we enter senility LOL ! Thanks Kelly...we love the rugs and always take them outside 2x a year and vacuum them front and back. This was the 1st ever that I decided to clean them with water. I don't know what people thought...probably that I was taking in laundry...who in their right mind has this many rugs ??? ! lk: I mean that when you smooth your hand over an oriental rug there is one way that is like velvet and the other is against the nap. You want to follow the smooth and not rough up the fibers. The home machines will not work half as well. The Rug Dr is only 26.00 for 24 hrs so it is very cheap. I got the wide one. You pull it toward you as you hold the sprayer and it is scrubbing and sucking at the same time. You then tip it up and push it back to the beginning and just pull it to suck up any wayward water. Then I would cover that same area again spray/suck and then just suck and move on to the next strip. Believe it or not you get into a rhythm. It is easiest if you have a couple sunny days in a row in case you need a little longer drying time. You need to bring them in at night if you have dew like we do here. Or not if you want the odor removing attributes of the dew/night air. They really are only damp on the surface and the backing didn't get even the least bit damp. Only two are back out there this AM and that is cause they were the last two and I want to be double sure they are dry. You can get a pet odor removal treatment at the Rug Dr display. I am sure other brands have it too. But I would not use soap unless you are going to go back over each rug with clear water 2x to get it all out. And to get out the pee treatment stuff too. oceanna: you gotta post pics...LOVE red doors...you know they bring great good luck and wealth to you !! c

I'm glad to hear that you are having good success selling your items. Those are both very popular designers, so I'm sure you can't go wrong using their patterns. Had to laugh at your comment about not feeling SURE about something you paint. I think that is true of all of us! LOL That's because we KNOW this little line is too thick, or I don't think my shading looks right, etc. etc. etc. As Anj always tells me, we are our own worst critic! Everyone else will think it looks just great because they won't even notice what we consider our boo boos. I didn't do too much either. Got up later than I have since I started walking for exercise since our daughter called just as I was ready to head to bed last night. She's used to my staying up half the night and lives in Cali so is two hours earlier than we are and is not used to my early bedtime yet. Never did get a load of laundry in like I planned, but did prepare a chair for staining, brought my stationery bike down from the second level (too hot for me to walk outside today) and watched our grandson this evening while his Daddy played softball. The later was the most fun of course. Oh and I rearranged some of my photo folders and cleared out my inbox. Both which desparately needed finishing. Now I have to copy and paste all the email updates and replies from family and friends on/for our son while he was in Iraq into word so I can print them up for him. Doubt he'll want them now, but someday when he's old he may like to read them.
