Does anyone know where to get the rose Dakota Redwing?
Comments (54)I do love mine, Rosylady. It is so healthy, fragrant and a beautiful color. I got mine at Rogue Valley Roses and it is listed as in stock ATM....See MoreSouth Dakota conifers
Comments (10)Thanks Harv for showing us these pics. Like I told you before, I wasn't familiar with both Thujas. The Iseli Nursery is showing another shape of the 'Norm Evers' I guess their plants are shaered haevy in a pyramidal form. You mentioned tree times "Thuga" but I think you ment to say "Thuja"... :0) 'Tannenbuam' must be written as 'Tannenbaum' which is German for "Pine tree". Till my surprise this seedling selection is an American cultivar with a German cultivar name... Here is a link that might be useful: Iseli info...See More'Dakota's Song'
Comments (20)Sam Kedem roses (Hastings MN) carries this one. Matter of fact he's the only source as far as I know. I would highly suggest if you are going to get this one to buy more than one. It really is one of my absolute favorite roses. One of the blooms last year was as big and round as an orange. I should upload more of my pix to HMF... I usually see the lighter peachy almost pink color in John's photos in spring and late fall. The rest of the year the color for me is what you see in my photo. Here are a couple more to tease you guys with.. Dakota's Song is EASILY one of the best roses in my yard. Top 5 for sure!! Here is a link that might be useful: Kedem Roses...See MoreDakota Sun
Comments (3)A couple more One just before the petals fall. That last photo is as a newly planted baby in May. One of Karl Ploberger I really like this one. It has flowered a lot. I like the non fading yellow and great health....See Moremcnastarana
