Bathroom Vanity without Backsplash?
Comments (15)flyleft, thanks! The sink is from Sonia, in the 31.5" (?) size. We had the vanity built by a local guy, a slightly adapted version of a Sonia vanity. We liked the look of the sink so much, that we ordered two more of them in the 24" width (length) for our upstairs bathrooms. Sonia also makes the sink in a 39" version. FYI, if anyone plans on ordering one, make sure you specify one with overflow holes (if that's important to you)....See Moreiridescent tile back splash in bathroom.
Comments (25)I have a full wall of Ann Sacks iridescent tile in my girls' BA; but it is white. In certain light it looks more rainbowy than other light; but OTOH it is subtle enough that Christopher Peacock used it in his house ...in his kitchen! My girls love the iridescence, but by sticking with the white it is far more subtle and flexible, and dare I say timeless. FWIW...See MoreHelp needed with mirror and backsplash in bathroom
Comments (9)We did mirrors all way down-it's easy to clean I agree with Debbi not a fan of backsplashes myself, not in the bathroom..well depends on one's space of course. we also have a marble countertop, shaped floor tile..didn't want to add another material hard to say about the exact distance between the light and the top of the mirror..I'm sure there are standard suggestions somewhere, and one can find them, with some research and googling..but I just eyed it..whatever looks like it works usually works....See MoreBathroom backsplash, mirror, light
Comments (2)Personally I would have covered the whole wall. However, this still looks really nice and I do love the tile. I would do a frameless mirror, a lighter frame would not work. On either side of the tile, could you have slim wall sconces added?? Finally I love the handles, it is a great monochromatic look. Lighter handles would again just stick out too much. Can’t wait to see the finished project....See Moreakl_vdb
