What winter?!
Comments (47)It got so nice (40's) last weekend that we went to a city park called "Blacks grove" after an old sea captain that once owed the land. (actually 2 miles outside the city limits) The snow had warmed then refroze so you could walk across the top without breaking through and see everything good without leave on the brush. Many large Fraxinus nigra, Betula papyrifera and other native trees. Gourgeous day, picks up the spirit. 60+ acres of forest with a creek running through it. Ski/hiking/biking trails. First & second picture: Quercus macrocarpa. Third pic: Abies balsama. Fourth: Picea glauca. And last: Pinus strobus. This weekend is supposed to be up in the 50's & sunny....See MoreFebruary, 2017 Quilting/Sewing Goals
Comments (20)Rita, my doc told me up front that he recommended at least a week off. And he told me that it will be 3-6 months of PT. Today I'm not so sure I'm ready to go back on Mon. I haven't even attempted a shower yet, and the thought of getting ready for work and driving all the way there by myself is kind of overwhelming. Yesterday was the first day I had a normal shirt on (I'd been wearing a huge papery shirt that went around the arm and sling). Today when my DH helped me put a shirt on I kind of freaked out having the sling off. I know it's a process. :) I'm just terrified of doing something wrong and undoing what was done on Monday!
