just got A. Konjac corms, help me with the next step
Comments (23)Hey all, Well my Konjacs are in the ground and just barely poking out as it's been a cool spring. I do have a question about A. Bulbifer though. I got a tuber in the mail that looks like it is going to bloom. Should I plant it in a pot and have it outside or can I just leave it inside on a table or shelf like I've heard of people doing with Konjacs when they flower....? Thanks! Comments (34)This is fun seeing everyone's Happy Face projects! Here's mine. I was going to marbleize fabric and then make throw pillows but that hasn't happened yet. I filled my wall sconces with artificial greens and flowers. I love anything mossy and earthy, twigs and berries and woodland. I also live near the ocean, so I added seashells and mossy greens that I thought mimic seaweed. There are two dark corners in my living room that needed some light, and I've been smiling at them since I finished a few hours ago! These will take me right through Summer until I switch out for twigs and fall leaves. (My iPad only posts one pic at a time)......See MoreVery disheartened...not sure of my next step. Please help.
Comments (46)Katie, I wrote a comment yesterday and then deleted it because I felt that I was reading the situation all wrong. But now I am thinking I was okay. Your current layout is very much like mine. My kitchen is the main pathway from the garage to virtually the rest of the house. And your range is right next to this pathway. In my case, I have no countertop next to the cooktop. This pathway will limit you as well, in my opinion. Then there is that big window to deal with! Just like me. UGH! Is your current kitchen a peninsula with room for a table by the large window? I feel for you! I have the same frustrations. We are in limbo right now due to our restrictions/budget. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like you have the luxury of waiting it out to save more money....See MoreNext steps ... Arabicum PBN & Dino Diamond King
Comments (8)"Ninmonkorn" Thai Soco of mine. The Thai Soco's should grow with all branches in a compact and more horizontal than upward. I had some have their central leader bend off like this. To keep them in a compact and symmetrical shape, Elena. I would be tempted to prune out the tall leaders in a manner that the 'new' laterals will be at same height as the side branches. If this makes sense. It done all the time in Thailand. I try to prune any branches that want to take off and keep them similar. This is a 'Peth Dino' I have. (Virgin Roots) This is another 'Peth Dino' (Decorated Roots, under soil) Rick...See Moregrammaj_gw
