Try Ben Moore Natural Wicker. Or Linen White.

I was going to say BM Linen White as well. In my basement, it does have a yellow undertone similar to the picture above.

A big fan of BM Linen White - I had it in my north/northeast room and it was creamy and warm and just lovely. Your bunks and the room is just adorable as are the girls, what lucky girls!

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. I will go get a sample of the Linen White. I will look at the Natural Wicker as well. That is one that had not come up in my searches. And Janie thank you for your kind compliments. Our girls are very excited. Their grandpa built this for them as their Christmas gift this year. They can hardly wait until the room is finished with paint, curtains, and new bed linens.

My favorite creamy white is BM Swiss Coffee.

I agree-it is a darling room and will be just beautiful painted white. You might want to try samples of Acadia White and Lily of the Valley. Both creamy, both Benjamin Moore.

Glidden's Crisp Linen is a creamy white that doesn't read yellow.

Pipdog - Swiss Coffee was a color that came up when I was searching and is on my list! I'll definitely have to get a sample.

We had BM Swiss Coffee and it is a truly neutral pale taupe in daylight.

REMEMBER that the color temperature of the lights will have a very strong influence on the apparent paint color, especially with few windows.

nosoccermom: I nearly got SW Creamy today in a sample can. I may get a sample this afternoon when I go back to town. Also this is the first time I'm hearing of Capitol White. Definitely something to look at.

Update: I got a sample of BM Linen White. I think it may be the one! My ACE store color matched it for me because the nearest BM (or SW) store is an hour away. :( So far the large areas I painted are looking nearly perfect. Warm w/o reading yellow. I'm thinking I want a hint more creaminess but I certainly don't want the room reading yellow. I'm going to continue looking at it throughout the day.

BTW this room does have two large windows - 34x52 but it just doesn't get a lot of light with it facing N/N/E and plus they keep the blinds closed.

The creamy whites look good, but I'm never good at selecting paints on a monitor. But it will provide a great ambiance.

Would you want to make the bunk beds themselves stained, as there are bound to be a lot of chips and nicks in paint as those darling girls climb in, around and about? (in which case, stain window and door trim to match.)

Oh, definitely paint the bunks! Just use a semi gloss trim paint. We actually did all of our trim with oil based paint for extreme durability, but I understand it is a bear for a DIY project so only recommend it if you are hiring it out. I think if you don't paint the bunks it will look nothing like your inspiration.

artemis_ma & nini804 - The plan is to paint the bunks the same color as wall. I want them to blend it rather than stand out (the size of them alone draws your attention). I liked the bit of stain on the inspiration photo around the holes at the end of the bunks. I'm wanting to put some type of trim around the cutouts on our bunks too so I may stain that trim. Or our bunks have that "shelf" along the front so maybe that part could be stained instead?

Also considered staining the steps of the ladder while painting the rest of the ladder. Still up in the air about staining the ceiling or painting but I'm starting to lean toward painting it. I like the cream look w/ the wood but we have the wood floors, a spoon carved chest of drawers, and a hope chest in their room which add that warmth. Also their knotty pine door is stained.

I was also going to suggest Linen White. We have it in our living room and will soon repaint the kitchen with it as well. Our loving room faces north and I think it's a colour that works at all times of the day.

If you're considering going slightly creamier than BM Linen White, BM Capitol White and Glidden Crisp Linen (which are very similar to each other) will not be creamy enough for you. I finally got a paint chip of Tibbrix's Capitol White (had to ask for it as they didn't have it available on the floor) just to keep in my collection, and found it to be the closest match to Crisp Linen (my favorite creamy white) I've ever seen. They're both quite a bit lighter (LRV 87.5 and 89) than BM Linen White (LRV 81).

To my eye, Swiss Coffee is a green off-white. I love the color (and fantasize about having our kitchen cabinets that color), but it definitely appears green in our light vs. just a creamy off-white.

I hope you'll post an after picture with whatever you end up doing in your girls' room. It's a beautiful room!!

Thank you eastautumn for that insight. My favorite color is green but it isn't what I want for the girl's room. My north facing bedroom is painted SW Ancient Marble and I love it in there. As my hubby works night we keep blackout curtains over the windows so really the only light is from our lamps and I just love the color (but in my room it is nothing like the chip). I'd really considered getting a sample of Swiss Coffee so I'm so happy you posted your thoughts on it. I went ahead and purchased a gallon of BM Linen White this afternoon so here we go!! I'll definitely post photos.

The room is going to look amazing in cream! What fun space! I second/third BM linen white and Swiss coffee. I've used both and they are wonderful. Linen white reads more yellow than Swiss coffee. Good luck and post pictures of the painted room!

Ok second question: trim for doors & two windows...paint or stain to match door? There is no baseboards yet but I plan to paint them as well as the small trim at top. Still undecided if I'm painting or staining the ceiling. I'm adding photos below of different looks. (Btw the paint is the first coat of BM Linen White & even though it may look like it the trim is currently not stained at all. The door is stained Minwax Provincial).

And while we're at it go ahead and give me your opinions on staining vs. painting the ceiling. For what its worth this bedroom and the mirror image of it on the other side of the wall are additions to our mobile home. So these two rooms are the only ones w/ beadboard ceilings. And yes I know it's "just a mh" but it's where we'll most likely spend the rest of our lives. We tend to have a rustic vibe and there is a lot of wood throughout the main portion.

Hmmm,I think I'd paint the ceiling, but stain window and door trim. I like those doors!
