Wall mount chimney hood installation

So we have a z-line pro 30in range hood (chimney style - wall mount)

it will be mounted to a wall that is an exterior wall so it will vent directly outside .

The instructions state it has to be 28 inches above stove.

No issue

it states to minimize elbows but it doesn't really specify parameters for how far minimum elbow should be.

Hood is 28 inches above stove. The actual hood component is 13 inches wide (hood bottom to where chimney portion starts)

the vent to outside is about 19 (where our elbow would be )

I am just curious if this would be okay?

Also so do we need to clear insulation (pink panther fluffy bats away from duct work)

we plan on using rigid duct duct work be flexiable to reduce air resistance
