Pet Nicknames
Comments (26)I **LOVE** all these names! :-) Here's my amateurish contribution to a great thread..... Bosco the GSD is AKA: Goofy, but usually Bosconi. Giovanni the cat is Creepovanni. (Not the friendliest fellow in the house.) Zorro (Giovanni's brother) is Baby Boy or Kitten. Henry, another kitty, is either Baby Henry or Zofran. We got Henry while our Teeb cat was going through chemotherapy. One of the medications she was on was Zofran, which is to stop the vomiting brought on by chemotherapy. For some unknown reason, Henry was always around while Teeb was getting her meds in the morning. We think he was concerned about his adoptive Mom. Anyway.... somehow he became known as Zofran. LOL!! What's your cat's name? ... Zofran! ... What an unusual name. ... Yes it is. He is named after a pill to control puking! LOL!! Bruno, the black cat, is Brunoloni. Mikey, the orange and white cat, is Booger Boy or Schmarkie. Schmarkie is Ukrainian for nasal mucoid discharge. Mikey has chronic sinusitis. Clyde, the Orange Winged Amazon Parrot, is more commonly known as Clydage. Why? Dunno. Just is. That's about it from here. C with 3 Ds...See MoreWhat does your nickname/screen name mean?
Comments (31)Well, I just have to resurrect this post... My screen name was forgotten, so when I rejoined, I used my married initials, first, middle and last name. I'd like to switch to my maiden/current initials, jclepine, but I figure it really isn't that big of a deal. Am I being a smarty-pants if I say that I know what meershaum means? Even if I can't spell it? When I was little I was very in to reference materials (nerd!) and looked everything up at the library. Sea Foam Green was my favourite crayon colour, so I looked that up until I figured out the connection to the pipes. I couldn't figure out, though, how they made a pipe out of sea foam!! Oh, and I was sure it was Dig It, not Digit...oh well!! I sure enjoyed reading these... Jennifer Camille...See MorePet names

Comments (21)Capone: (I gave him these) Caponimator (Caponinator just didn't sound right), Hoss, Scavenger, 'Pone, SugarBear, m'Love, Stooge, D.A. (short for dumba$$, when he's being especially silly), GoofBall.. (S.O. gave him these :])Tit, Tittybaby, Crybaby, Mama's Boy, Boobie-Bogartin' S.O.B. (he nuzzles in my boobs - I think he's got a Mommy complex or something), Teether (when we rough-play, he won't bite - just barely nibbles the skin with his front teeth - HURTS! :P)and.... *ahem* 'boy-part'-blocker. (We don't actually say 'boy-part', but it's quite crude, so I didn't spell it out... use your imagination.)He got that one because he's the only one that's supposed to get Mommy's affection. Period. If Mommy and Daddy are less than two feet away from eachother, he squeezes in the middle. Jealousy, anyone? Wow. A lot of nicknames.... I'm suprised he comes to 'Capone' anymore :) Disclaimer: all name-calling is in fun, and the only time the dog gets his feelings hurt is when he's called gruffly to get him away from a chew-toy that's started to deteriorate....See More- 9 years ago
