Hi garden_n_mom, I have cuttings of a peachy color brug here that I am rooting for a newbie, and if you'd like to try my unnamed brug, I can email you a photo of it. It's very fragrant, and enormous, as I live in south FL. As we are in different zones, trading can be a bit tricky. I am renting, so only have pots on patios here. Landlady has kindly offered me any cuttings or divisions for myself or to trade for what I would like. Very nice gesture! I am new to gardening here, so can't even identify most of the plants here. Right now I'm trying to root cuttings of a beautiful variegated leaf hibiscus, green/white/fuscia edges, which matches the deeply colored blooms. It's quite beautiful, and she advises me that it is a rare one. If I get the cuttings to root and you would like to try one, probably annual where you are, that's possible also. Right now I'm trying to select just a few good old standbys for ease of maintenance here in the heat, along with a couple of my heart's desire. I love adeniums, crown of thorns, white orchid cactus, if you have any of those. Or would consider others you might suggest. Girlsaylor

Hi Group... I ordered the 3 in 1 angel trumpet from "House of Wesley: :( what it turned out to be is 3 plants white,yellow,pink in the same pot. I ordered 3 and did plant them all. I too thought there would a grafted, but it wasn't. Now I don't know what to feed them. Can anyone suggest a food for these plants. I'm kind of new to this, as I moved from CA to TN when I retired and not very experienced. Lynne

A quick update on our progress, for anyone else in the same situation. The cat has been here for 7 months, truly a lovely cat who enjoys sitting on laps, purring and chasing strings. He spends most of his time upstairs with occasional supervised visits downstairs. We put a gate across the landing to keep the dogs from going up. The gate slides open and closed, and we keep it open just enough for the cat to get through if he wants to. Just recently, he's been venturing downstairs on his own. He usually only does this when someone is in the living room, that he can see from the top of the stairs. The Shiba dog is most curious about the cat, but she keeps her distance and is not at all threatening. What's funny is that it's the cat who's more in-your-face than the dog. For example, last night the dog was snoozing peacefully by the couch. The cat jumped up on the sofa table and perched on the side by the dog (think Snoopy in his vulture mode). When the dog looked up, the cat hissed as if the dog had offended him somehow. The dog slunk away. My other dog spends most of her day sleeping in my home office, so doesn't really interact with the cat at all. So we're slowly integrating all animals. It's taken 7 months to get this far, but even so I think we're on the right track.

Why not donate it to the goodwill or something like that?? That's what i do.With me i donate to the DAV(disabled american veterans) Or you could give it to any thrift shop.Some of the others are more accepting of this sort of thin,than the goodwill.At least that's how it is in my area.Just a suggestion.
