Comments (6)Hi Mike, I opened an account with Picasa (link below). Posting pics from Picassa is easy and they've upped their free limit to 1 GB (that's a lot of pics)! After you upload your pics to Picasa, sign in to your account (upper right hand corner). Click on one of the pics in your album. On the right hand side, click on "Link to this photo", Select the size (I usually use Medium), click in the box under "HTML to embed in website", right click and choose "Copy", then paste the html code here on the forum in the message box. Here is a recent photo I posted to Picasa. You can click on it and see how I've set up my albums. LIL' RED WAGON Many people here use Photobucket...the process is about the same. Good luck. We'd love to see your pics! Kathy Here is a link that might be useful: Picasa...See More'Kuchen-ade' critical posts removed
Comments (17)Lambic, First let me say that it's not true than no one else has had the problem I have...with the broil element coming on during the bake cycle, and over-browning the food being baked. I read about it at least twice when I first had this oven installed, exactly the same as I was experiencing. However, on another thread someone suggested that perhaps the bake element (lower, under the oven floor) wasn't functioning and the broil element was attempting to maintain the temperature without assistance. That sounded so plausible, and would have explained everything, but when my husband tested the oven this morning, he said the lower element was definitely working. I was so disappointed... However, the bread dough proofing feature does not work at all (didn't matter to me) so I'm using that as an excuse to get a serviceperson out here and at the same time hoping to get some insight into the main problem with this oven. KA would not send someone out for that, saying it was "normal". I'll keep you all posted on this. Carly...See MoreBack door - adding blinds/curtain for privacy? (x-posted)
Comments (10)Plantation shutters!!! We had them on our kitchen door at our old house. They basically make a frame around your window, the shutters are hinged to the frame. In a situation with a smaller window like that, I just hinge the shutters on one side (as opposed to two panels which open in the middle.) This gives you the cleanest lines. There is no shaking or movement of the shutters, they can be completely closed for total privacy or opened all the way. It adds a lot of depth to your door window...I think a substantial touch. This pic is of one in my office, I don't have them on any doors in this house, but it would look just like this......See MoreLook what I found out bout the KT and our postings
Comments (22)You can also just Google ThatHomeSite, your user name or Garden Web and all of your postings come up. I thought everyone knew if they posted something here that it wasn't private. I don't know about private boards like the Meeting House if those posts show up or not. If I can see what you posted so can everyone else who wants to see it or look for whatever else you have posted just by Googling your screen name. I guess that is why we don't use our surnames here. I don't have anything to hide and if someone wants to read what I posted I don't really care. Maybe they will learn something from us all. Anne...See More- 9 years ago
