the view from my porch this morning. Pretty trees, but not the best look for my car. I left a party early last night to get home before this started. Drove in sleet. Relieved to arrive without incident.

This little guy was born beneath my studio window in August. If I'd known the doe was there giving birth, I could have watched the entire thing, but I didn't see them until she had him pretty much cleaned up.

Our first wintery day. It is ugly out there. The birds do seem to appreciate our efforts.

We just had a light dusting of snow today......enough for the highways to be slick and fender-benders. Just west of me, near Old Joyful, they're expected to get 20cm with snow squalls (8")

Dawn, I love those deer! What a little sweetheart. We've been known to get some November snow, but no one was expecting the amount that arrived last night. More was added to it today, and now the wind is howling.
